This is the personal website of Evan Conrad, a generalist software engineer.

Right now, I work at Segment, where I:

I also maintain Quirk ๐Ÿ™โœจ, an open source app that helps folks with various mental health disorders record thoughts as part of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Before that, I worked on a small feature on Kindle during an internship at Amazon. If you'd like to know more about my dev experience so far, there's a long-form explanation here.

If you'd like get coffee in SF or are just trying to reach out, feel free to shoot me a note at the email:

๐Ÿคนโ€ Family Quest

Do you happen to know Bill Joy, the co-founder of Sun Microsystems, creator of vi, and early developer of BSD Unix? My dad, an old school systems programmer from way-back-in-the-day claims that Bill Joy taught my elder brother (maybe around 10 years old at the time) how to juggle at a conference in the bay area years ago.

I'm a bit skeptical.

If you happen to have a direct line to Bill Joy, would you please ask him if he (1) knows how to juggle and if he (2) happens to remember teaching a kid how to juggle at a conference years ago. (Not a joke, helps solve a family mystery)
